| Up until the recent 5 years, we rarely saw the use of metal panels for church projects. Suddenly things changed, we had two projects in one year and have had at least one church project as part of each year's work since then.
In 2006 we furnished and installed two types of products from the Metecno companies. One of the feature elements on this project are the profiled metal panels from Metecno-Morin. In this instance we furnished 7,500 sf of their Y-36 profile in 22 gauge with a Kynar-500 finish and standard Colonial Red color. Some specialty fabrication features are 1,500 sf of crimp curved panels and the mitered corners, all done in-house by Morin.
Also featured on the project, behind the cross, is Metecno-Benchmark's architectural foam-core panel. We installed 700 sf of their Designwall 2000 H, with a 2" core and 36" vertical height (width) with a half inch horizontal reveal at the joint and a silicone gasket at the vertical panel joints. The face skin was 22 gauge smooth steel in a Kynar-500 finish, Surrey Beige color.

| Metro Transit Control officials want their structures to last beyond what is typically required for commercial construction so they want materials that are well proven over time. In order to add some visual interest to this multi purpose facility at the Arbor Lakes retail center, Maple Grove, the architects at LSA design chose custom aluminum plate panels to accompish this result. Aluminum plate panels have been cladding monumental type buildings for decades and include IDS Center and the recently replaced Federal Reserve building.
For the bus shelter-waiting area, we furnished Firestone Una-Fab Series 3000 alumium plate panels for the dark bronze fascia and facade. On the stair towers for the parking ramp you will also find Una-Fab 3000 panels in a sierra tan color.
